Measurement apparatus
- RKT 7700 Nidek ATC (automatic puff control) autorefractor, keratometer and tonometer: the apparatus measures your optical anomalies, your corneal geometry and pre-operational intra-ocular pressure. Extremely important to know as it will become lower after treatment.
- Corneal pachymetry and specular microscopy measurement using a Topcon automatic unit
- Eye axial biometry measurement using a Zeiss IOL MASTER unit; this pre-operation value is fundamental as it may be needed by your eye specialist for calculating any intra-ocular transplant required in the event of a future possible cataract operation.
- Measurement of optical aberrations on eyes using the Zeiss CRS MASTER platform.
- Measurement or corneal topography using the Zeiss topographer. These measurements enable personalized treatment and new-generation iris-recognition treatment to be given.
- For any extra treatment that may be required, corneal analysis in optical coherence tomography with the Zeiss OCT VISANTE can be used for making highly accurate measurements of the thickness of the flap and the posterior corneal bed.
